Our cheese section changes weekly, so check out the cooler each time you stop in. We always offer a selection of Cabot Co-op Creamery cheeses, mozzarella, and other everyday staples. We carry an extensive line of artisinally produced cheeses from family owned and operated farms all over the world. We pride ourselves on our selection of local and regional cheeses. We have a variety of cow’s, goat’s, and sheep’s milk cheeses. We always have a selection of fresh, rich, creamy cheeses; semi-firm and firm nutty cheeses, and blue cheeses. If Alice, Amy, Peter, or Spring are in the store, they may have time to offer you a taste of one of the cheese, if there is more in the back, to help make your purchasing decisions. Don’t hesitate to inquire.
Be sure to check out our selection of olives and other condiments such as roasted red peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, and capers.
We offer milk from High Lawn Farm in the Berkshires, all produced with milk from Jersey cows. We proudly offer Side Hill Yogurt from Ashfield. We also carry many Cabot Co-op dairy products. All our eggs come from family-owned farms who raise their chickens naturally and treat them well.
And don’t forget dessert! Bring home some Bart’s locally made ice cream for a special treat. In the warmer months you can get ice cream cones or cups at the front of the store in addition to the pints in the freezer.
