We are proud to be one of the central hubs of the Hilltowns. We work hard to support our local producers, businesses, farmers, and community. We are committed to providing the products and services that our community needs and we are working to keep our prices as low as possible and the quality as high as possible.

Good Company

We invite you to become a member-owner of the Old Creamery Co-op. The member-owner equity requirement is currently $150, and if you need time payments you can become a member-owner for as little at $15 per month. Not ready to join? No problem, your patronage supports the Old Creamery Cooperative’s long-term success as our local, full-service grocery and gathering place. Thank you for supporting the Old Creamery Co-op as a shopper, as a member-owner, as a friend. We value every contribution.

Sustainability

We sell bulk foods. We have a wholesale food buying club open to all. We have a zero waste bulk buying club. We give a 10% discount on case orders. We have been shopping bag free since Earth Day 2008. We host periodic speakers on sustainability, have monthly films on sustainability topics powered by our wind turbine, and we host a free Sustainability Library on our second floor. The packaging used by our deli, grocery, and produce departments is the most environmentally sound choices available, such as 100% cellulose cellophane bags, bio-bag trash bags, and recycled fiberboard deli containers.

Community

We invite community feedback on our products, policies, and practices. We need your opinions about what will best serve you and our community. Tell Karen Doherty, our general manager, or any board member what you think, put your suggestion in the Co-op’s suggestion box, or come to one of our board meetings. We treasure your involvement and support.
